Deston Denniston left the woods several years ago to join the circus. On the way to the circus he got lost and ended up in a state institution (nominally known as a college) where he studied the woods he used to live in, as well as architecture, and even some literature and arts. After escaping from the institution he decided against the circus after all, and began a tilting at the dual windmills of degrading land use conventions and public education deficits. When he is not riding Rocinante, he tends to play with his farm critters and build soil. Occasionally he plants things.
